The nursing shortage in America continues to cause concerns for healthcare facilities and it looks like the shortage is set to worsen in the coming years. The US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment of RNs will grow 16% from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for other occupations. Since the education system for nurses is unable to keep up with the pace of the growing demand, the opportunities for international nurses continues to rise.
